This marks the first time two Scottish-manufactured products – a heat pump and a heat battery – have been designed to work together as a complete system package, delivering low-carbon, sustainable heating and hot water solutions for homes.
Following extensive testing at Sunamp’s R&D facility in the East of Scotland, the company’s Optimino key technology has been developed to ensure seamless compatibility between the Thermino xPlus and the market-leading Mitsubishi heat pump. The Mitsubishi Ecodan PUZ-WZ with R290 refrigerant is one of the most popular heat pump models in Europe, making this integration a significant step in expanding the accessibility of efficient, space-saving, and sustainable heating solutions for homeowners.
