Frankfurt, 18 March 2025: Sunamp launches low-power heat battery models for efficient and sustainable hot water
Heat battery manufacturer Sunamp, a leader in thermal storage technologies, has added a low-power model to its range of Thermino® heat batteries for hot water to cater for situations where only a smaller electrical power supply is available.
The new models were developed to respond to challenges from the Italian market where homes may have fuse ratings as low as 16A meaning a total of 3kW. By reducing the charging power below 2 kW the new Thermino models can serve such homes and applications in other homes where incoming power capacity is limited such as holiday lodges and park homes that often also have 16A supply. For the first time, customers can now buy a super-compact heat battery that is compatible with Midea heat pumps and also works with solar PV and grid electricity to take advantage of off-peak tariffs.
