Central Bank Mini thermal battery
Central bank
Central Bank Mini (P58) is an advanced and compact thermal battery that stores up to 80 kWh of heat using Sunamp’s patented Plentigrade P58 Phase Change Material (PCM), which provides highly efficient thermal storage for process heat and industrial processes.
Up to three times smaller than the equivalent hot water based thermal store, Central Bank Mini is a space-saving alternative to the water tanks and buffer vessels used in buildings and industrial processes.
It can be charged from boilers, electric thermal heat generators such as heat pumps, or from waste heat, making it a flexible solution for a wide range of systems.
By capturing waste heat, surplus embedded electricity (for example, from solar PV), or low-cost grid electricity, Central Bank Mini enables peak load shifting and reduce primary fuel consumption, leading to lower fuel bills and operating costs.
Central Bank Mini (P58) has two independent hydronic circuits, high power (HPC) and low power (LPC), offering flexible operation for both high-load and low-load applications, supporting decarbonisation and energy flexibility across commercial & industrial sites.
