Thermino xPlus and Bosch Compress 5800i AW R290

Thermino xPlus works with the Bosch Compress 5800i AW R290 air source heat pump as a small and smart alternative to an indirect hot water cylinder.

The high performance heat pump provides space heating for the home and charges the Thermino heat battery.

The Thermino xPlus stores this heat in a patented phase change material, ready to provide mains pressure hot water on-demand.

Thermino xPlus comes fitted with our Optimino controller which allows the heat battery to work with different energy sources using the compatible Optimino key.

For the Bosch Compress 5800i AW R290 you’ll need the BH01 key. If you’re also using solar PV to charge the Thermino, you’ll need the BH02 key.

Optimino technology allows you to add solar PV at any time without changing your heat battery – just swap the Optimino key. This also works if you’re changing from one Thermino-compatible heat pump to another.
